The winter storms have caused a landslide in the Cornish village of Porthwallow, carrying the Village Hall away with it and the disparate villagers, Cornish locals, incomers, the Vicar and his partner, members of the local aristocracy and a reclusive rock-star all come together to rebuild the hall. However, no matter how many coffee mornings and jumble sales they put on. they realise that the only way to make real money is to revert to old Cornish ways, Smuggling and that the only commodity worth smuggling these days is drugs! Cocaine! The story spreads from the back streets of Bogota to beneath the Cornish waves and culminates with the annual celebration of Regatta.
